2010 News Update
Hello
Greetings valued Extreme Flight customer!
Spring is just around the corner, bringing blue skies,
warm sunshine and some great flying weather. We
here in Georgia have experienced an unusually cold winter
and are overcome with cabin fever. Seems many
folks around the country are experiencing the same situation
as the banter on the RC forums has grown unusually bitter,
condescending and at times downright rude! Let's
all remember to think before we type and ask ourselves
"if I were to engage this person face to face over
this same topic, would I communicate the same way".
The internet provides anonymity which removes accountability
and unfortunately makes some folks feel that they can
say anything without taking others feelings and situations
into consideration. The internet forums are a
powerful tool. Let's use them to share our combined
wealth of knowledge to increase our enjoyment and understanding
of this hobby rather than let discussions devolve into
tabloid-like drivel as they often do.

We have just received the first shipment of our new 48
inch Edge 540T EXP and 48
inch Vanquish MKII pattern aircraft!
 
Following on the success of our enormously popular
Extra
300EXP , the Edge
540T EXP is a wild and raucous ride for the 3D maniac!
Featuring the unique construction methods developed in
the Extra EXP, the Edge EXP is a powerhouse 3D airframe
that will satisfy the needs of the most "Extreme"
3D pilots.
The 48
inch Vanquish MKII is a highly refined version of
our original Vanquish release form 2007. Upgrades
include an airfoiled tail section, carbon and composite
reinforced fuselage, carbon fiber landing gear and a gorgeous

While
we're discussing the EXP series aircraft I have to direct
you all to a trilogy of videos sent to us by Daniel Holman
from Washington state. Daniel is a fine young man
in his early teens who has an unbelievable talent behind
the transmitter sticks. Far from just another hot
shot 3D pilot, Daniel combines aggressive 3D maneuvers
with smooth and graceful precision aerobatics. I
know most of you have seen hundreds of videos of hot shot
pilots on the internet, but I ask you to take a few minutes
and view these videos. Daniel really shows what

Last
month we received our first shipment of 50cc
Edge 540T airframes. This latest 50cc release
from Extreme Flight has been extremely well received within
the aerobatic community, so much so that our first shipment
sold out within a few days of its arrival. Another
batch is in the works so if you are interested please
contact us ASAP to get on our backorder list. I've
got a feeling the next shipment will go just as fast!
We've also received both the Gas/glow and
electric versions of our new 78
inch Extra 300. This is the airframe that
Lithuanian RC pilot extraordinaire Donatas Pauzuolis
won all 6 rounds of the prestigious international
World Air Games competition with last Summer. Designed
for 2500-3000 Watt 10S electric power systems
or 30-40cc gas engines (and a host of glow engines
in the 1.50-180 range) these aircraft are phenomenal

The show season is now in full swing!
We've recently attended the FX3D event in Jacksonville,
FL followed by the Southeastern Model show in Perry,
GA. Next up is the Toledo Expo in Ohio, followed
by SEFF and the mighty Joe Nall fly-in, of which we
will again sponsor the 3D flight line. If you
